One for the Lord exists to glorify God by transforming the generosity of our community into hope and stability. Through our nonprofit thrift store, we provide affordable housing, emergency shelter, and supportive services for families and individuals experiencing crisis — helping preserve families, restore hope, and create pathways toward lasting stability and independence.

Our thrift store is more than a place to shop — it is the engine that fuels our mission. Every donation, every purchase, and every volunteer hour is transformed into hope, homes, and healing. Affordable, quality merchandise keeps resources within reach for families who need them most, while every sale directly funds housing and emergency shelter.
Housing & Emergency Shelter
We provide affordable housing, emergency shelter, and supportive services for families and individuals experiencing crisis. Our goal is to keep families together whenever possible — connecting those we serve with housing, employment resources, financial education, counseling, and trusted community partnerships to build stable, independent futures.
